Great gratitude

The book is here. Like, in-my-hands here. I’m holding it for the first time.

Pretty cool.

I’m feeling tremendously grateful, for the many, many people who are reading this post, who contributed to this.

Thank you.

  1. I have been waiting for this book. Congratulations! I read the online introduction to your book and am mighty impressed. There is a young lady friend of mine who is soon to marry and is considering the ministry. I think this will make the perfect gift.

My order is on the way!

  2. How cool is that! Do you do things like — put it on the kitchen table — walk out of the room — walk back in — say, Hey, look at this book! ENJOY THIS!

  3. Ruth,

That’s hilarious. I did give it to a friend, left her house, and went back at the end of the night. When I saw the book on her coffee table (after only a half a glass of wine, I promise), I almost said, “Hey! I’ve read that book.”

Thank God, I remembered just in time that it was my book. (You know what an airhead I can be.)

It was all internal. I didn’t embarrass myself by saying it (oh wait, now I’m writing about it…). But it was a fun moment.

    Thanks for the congratulations.

Ruth and Brian, I’m thoroughly indebted to you both for this one!

  4. Congratulations! You are a great writer. Thank you for letting me relive the wonder gift of a first book through your experience.

You have been a blessing to me from the moment you were conceived.

  5. Aawww…Mom. I certainly owe a lot of gratitude to you. In this situation, I’m particularly thankful for your encouragement to always think for myself. And, of course, I’m grateful for the writer genes!
